Beginners and experienced composers alike will walk away with tools and new inspiration for approaching songwriting for this 3-day 3-hours per day workshop with the amazing SD Youngwolf. This experience will include storytelling, song, shamanic journeying, and art instruction with SD Youngwolf a Cherokee wisdom teacher & visionary artist. We will document the condition of the Sego Canyon site (read more about it at   https://www.atlasobscura.com/places/sego-canyon-rock-art .)   Alchemical Painting Experience [$25] Wed Mar 16th 12:30pm   - 3:00pm   (MDT) SHAMANIC ARTS CENTER TBA ,  Location in Hotchkiss, Colorado    directions Incorporate plant medicine into your shamanic painting & artwork practice. Experience the beauty of slow working to infuse your work with healing intent using techniques that will not only deepen your art practice but help support your spiritual evolution. The paintings created using this process serve as a focal point for meditation for healing and shamanic consciousness. Sessions are 3-hours long & participants are encouraged to come at any time during the session to join other artists at a point in the process & stay as long as desired between 12:30 am and 3:00 pm.   Artist's Way Creative Cluster Sat Mar 19th 1:30pm   - 3:30pm   (MDT) Creamery Art Center ,  165 W Bridge St, Hotchkiss, CO 81419, USA    The Artist’s Way  is the seminal book on the subject of creativity. The Hotchkiss Artist's Way Creative Cluster meets weekly on Saturdays from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm for 12-weeks. The morning pages and artist dates are done in-order in the group, with everyone, including the facilitator, answering the questions and then sharing (if desired) the answers in clusters of four, one chapter per week. At the end of the 12-weeks, a new cluster will form if there is a waiting list. If you agree to the following guidelines, join us.
